Our November 18, 2018 Meeting

In Memory of Regina & Pete Mozek.
Pete designed the DKV Maipole at Donau Park and carved our Stammtisch Sign.

Er War Schriner, Holzschnitzer, und Zimmermann außergewöhnlich.  He made the Maibaum at the German Cultural Society's Donau Park. He made the sign above that for some reason we never got back from the St. Louis Gasthaus.  He also made our new sign which we post at meetings.

They were wonderful people.

In Memory of our other Members
First Row: Witold Kramer - und seine beliebte Frau Hannelore (nee Friedrich) Kramer. And if Witold was someplace, his friend, George Perry, was not far behind. All of these Fantastic People departed us too soon!.  George and Witold were also past Königen des St Louis Schützenvereins. Hobbies of our members: All of our members have hobbies as we are a very talented group.  Tom is an artist; Don took lessons from Pete (above) and now creates wonderful woodcarvings plus teaches new member Cousin Mike; and we even have a Monsignor in our group! .  Others do stuff too.  All are encouraged to add info about their hobbies below.

Member Walt Busch does our website and has also published several books about America's Civil War, including one in German.  His books are available on Amazon as Kindle books.  His book Lincoln's Brat: The Controversial General Thomas Ewing is available from him in print, just e-mail him.  His book Fort Davidson and The Battle of Pilot Knob: Missouri's Alamo is available in print from Amazon and Arcadia Books.
